Yes! When you order, make sure to leave us a note stating that you’re purchasing your Rimi card as a gift for someone else. (By default, we assign the card to whoever ordered it.)

Rimi uses technology that is compatible with most newer iPhone and Android devices. The Tap function is compatible with NFC enabled Smartphones i.e; all iPhones after 2017 and most Android phones. Your Rimi card comes with an added QR code which is compatible with virtually any smart phone. Also, you do not need to own a compatible device to set up and use Rimi. No, Rimi is completely web-based and doesn’t require any app to set up or scan.

No, the other person does not need a Rimi for you to share with them.

No, all Rimi products come equipped with the Basic user profile however, if you choose to upgrade to our Pro version there is a small fee charged.

We don’t ask our users for any sensitive information nor their social media logins. You can share as much or as little information as you’d like on your Rimi profile. Rimi profiles are public landing pages that hosts your information and make it easily sharable to people you meet.

On Android device; 1. Tap settings, then tap More. 2. Scroll down to NFC and Android Beam options. 3. Tap on the NFC switch to activate it. Android Beam will automatically turn on. (If Android Beam does not automatically turn on, tap it and select ‘Yes’ to turn it on). On IOS device; Unlike Android devices, iPhones do not need to be “turned on” to work.

Once you receive your card, the card comes with instructions on how to activate it and setup your account/ profiles. Only 2 simple steps are required.

Orders are processed almost daily and shipping varies between 1-7 business days depending on location. Lagos orders qualify for 1 – 2 business days delivery (Except Public Holidays).
